The conference saw astutue private equity and financial leaders share their vision and strategies for tackling the global challenges and local opportunities.

In his opening keynote address Ben Simpfendorfer, Chief China Economist of Royal Bank of Scotland, discussed how "the world's centre of economic gravity is shifting east", analysing the role of the largest Silk Road economies—namely China, India, Turkey, Indonesia and Saudi Arabia—in the global market and the liquidity challenges.

The conference also covered a number of key issues, including family offices, growth capital, energy and secondaries. Two sessions featuring limited partners and their perspectives on the global and local private equity industry concluded the event.
